The founder and CEO of Pacific Air Cargo (PAC), Beti Ward, founded the company in 2000 to fulfill the shipping needs of freight forwarders and consolidators on the mainland and those of businesses and consumers in Hawaii.
It became the mainstay for heavy freight service into the State of Hawaii. PAC also provides an alternate form of reliable and professional transport of commodities to the islands in place of traditional shipping vessels. Maritime shipping can take many days and is susceptible to inclement weather in the Pacific. PAC specializes in air freight of vital perishable foods and pet transport and is also the market leader for air transportation of large, bulky, and oversized consignments such as aircraft engines, medical equipment, and emergency supplies.
Pacific Air Cargo provides exclusive Boeing 747 express air services between Los Angeles and Honolulu, with onward connections to Hawaii’s neighbor islands and weekly services to Pago Pago, American Samoa, and Guam. Today, the professional, friendly team at PAC has a long and well-respected history of reliable, on-time service to the air freight markets in Hawaii, the United States mainland, and throughout the Pacific. Plus, our new Road Feeder Service (PAC RFS) links select locations throughout the 48 contiguous states to Hawaii and Los Angeles Gateways using a single air waybill (AWB).
