AIRWAY BILL PREP FEE

A fee of $15 will be added to the invoice total for each airway bill prepared by PAC.

 

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

For most transfers, such as airline to airline, there will be a $50.00 fee. This rate is not guaranteed if the freight is oversize, requires special handling/equipment. Please call for a quote.

 

DANGEROUS GOODS:

Passenger Aircraft OK

Rated per the MUST-RIDE rate plus $50.00 per declaration. (Shipments destined to Outer Islands subject to additional $40.00 per declaration)

Cargo Aircraft Only

Rated at $1.24 per lbs plus $75.00 per declaration (Shipments destined to Outer Islands subject to additional $70.00 per declaration)

No discounts given on Dangerous Goods shipments

 

DECLARED VALUE

PAC accepts up to $10,000.00 declared value with no pre-approval required. Any shipment with a DV exceeding $10,000.00 requires upper management approval. Please advise PAC whenever a DV exceeding $10,000.00 at the time the booking is placed. Charges are $0.85 per $100.00 DV; minimum $20.00

 

DEMURRAGE FEES AND DAMAGED EQUIPMENT

Fees begin after three (3) days. Fees will not exceed the cost to replace the equipment, plus 15% and damages to equipment will also incur a bill-back of 115% of the cost to replace/repair the equipment.

LD3: $25 per day

M1/ LD7/ AMJ: $50 per day

M2/20 ft pallet: $100 per day

Straps: $10 per day

Nets: $15 per day

 

DIM FACTOR: (CHARGES APPLY TO DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT OR ACTUAL WEIGHT, WHICHEVER IS GREATER)

DOMESTIC = 194 INTERNATIONAL = 166

I.E. L x W x H = ___ divided by 194 or 166 = Chargeable weight if greater than actual weight

 

DOCUMENTATION REQUEST Charge for copies of invoices-- $5.00 per invoice

 

FUEL SURCHARGE

Fuel surcharge is calculated as a percentage of the airfreight charges. It is determined by current and steady trends in the market, and is therefore subject to change without notice. PAC attempts to give a 7 day notice of intent to change the FSC, however we recommended contacting a PAC office or the PACIFIC AIR CARGO website for regular FSC updates.

 
M1 VS. LD7

M1 defined as shipper built great than 64” in height

LD7 defined as shipper built 64” or less

If anyone books an LD7 and it arrives at PAC facility higher than 64”, the customer will be charged for an M1.

 

OVERSIZE RULES:

Oversize surcharges begin at 84 inches (any dim) the criteria is as follows:

84’-124” surcharged at 130% of applicable rate and 125”-240” will be surcharged at 150% of applicable rate. Any piece when all dimensions total 240” and over, please call for a Quote.

Any one dimension over 240” please call for a quote. No discounts given on oversize shipments

Oversize shipments are subject to delay

 

PALLET RE BUILD/RE CONFIGURATION

Any pallet requiring re configuration by PAC so it will fit the aircraft is $150.00 per PMC, PAG. $300.00 for PGA.

 

RE-WEIGH AND RE-DIMS:

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify re-weighs and re-dims. PAC will fax gross discrepancies to the fax number of the local office or the fax number on file. If the shipment originates from a location other than Los Angeles, a fax number should be on the air bill if this information is needed. If the driver chooses NOT to wait for the dock re-weigh/dim then the bill will be rated as per the numbers from PAC warehouse staff. No discrepancies will be credited after billed.

 

SECURITY

All shipments are subject to Security surcharge. Shipments destined to an Outer Island destination are subject to an additional Security surcharge. Please contact a PAC office or the PACIFIC AIR CARGO website for applicable charges.

 

SERVICE LEVELS:

PAC offers 3 service levels. Days = Flight Days Flight 368 Schedule TUES-SAT Flight 369 Schedule M, T, TH, SAT

MUST-RIDE: Overnight service

GENERAL: Up to 3 Flight Days

STAND-BY: Up to 5 Flight Days *** May take longer depending on space availability ***

In order for the rate comparable to the service level to apply the customer must notate the service level on the air bill. If no level is notated the cargo and rate will be considered GENERAL.

Cut Off Times must be met to secure desired service level. Cut off Times: Shipper Builts, 2.5 hours prior to departure. Loose Cargo , 4.5 hours prior to departure.

 

SPOT QUOTES

In order for a spot quote to be honored the spot quote number must be noted on the air bill. Otherwise the quote will not be valid.

 

STORAGE FEES

$ .04 per lb., charged on actual weight, $ 25.00 minimum. Storage fees begin on day 3 after arrival/notification of freight arrival. Sundays excluded.

 

TRIP TRANSIT INSURANCE:

If requested by the shipper, PAC can provide additional coverage for $1.00 per $100.00 declared or $75.00 minimum. We will need a detailed description of the item, packing specifications and proper documentation to validate the amount of coverage requested.
