HONOLULU, HI, MAY 2009: Pacific Air Cargo (PAC) has named Trudy Tom as the new Account Executive for the state of Hawaii..
Born and raised in Kaneohe, Oahu, Ms. Tam is graduate of Kamehameha Schools and the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. She began her career in broadcasting at KHON TV2 in Honolulu and then with an independent production company. After moving the Big Island, she landed a job with Aloha Airlines, where she spent the next seventeen years in various positions, including Customer Service Agent, Ramp Agent, Cargo Agent, Customer Service Manager and Assistant Station Manager. With the demise of Aloha Airlines in 2008, Ms. Tam joined Aloha Contract Services (ACS) as Hilo Station Manager. It was from there that she made the move to ACS’ sister company, Pacific Air Cargo.
Commenting on the appointment of Ms. Tom as Sales Account Executive, Pacific Air Cargo CEO, Beti Ward said, “Trudy has a proven track record in the industry and is well connected in the business community.” She added, “She is a welcome addition to the PAC team.”Ms. Tom is married and the proud mother of 3 daughters and proud grandmother of 3 grandchildren. She is a member of Women In Tourism International Alliance (WITIA) and enjoys playing golf in her spare time.
